When purchasing your next vehicle there is several things that need to come to mind....the biggest factor in today's time in consumer and business views is affordability & practicality. We all want the best deal we can possibly find, the best fuel mileage, the best warranty, and down to the lowest interest rate loan you can get when financing. All this takes toll on buyers today....and its exactly what you need to focus on when purchasing your next vehicle. On new vehicles you can pretty much select trim packages with options based on what you can afford and what you can live with and without, for instance...alloy wheels, leather, satellite radio, and other options that push the price of a new vehicle up, into several thousands more where a base model or a mid package model would have done the same for your particular duty.  Watch your loans, check your interest rates and look at less months with a lower interest rate over  more months with a little higher interest, sometimes its pretty close in payment range. Warranty information is a must on a new vehicle, and one thing not to skim on when buying new...a lot of vehicles now have coverage up to 100,000 miles. Check the fine print, see whats covered, and make your selection. Lets talk about preowned vehicles and some things to look at when purchasing a preowned vehicle....

1. Condition...check the paint, tires, interior, and all mechanical parts of the vehicle. Listen and watch for anything that seems out of place with the vehicle. You can also take it your mechanic for an inspection, they service cars on a daily basis and know what to look for in a vehicle that might have been abused or neglected.

2. Carfax History Reports...this report will show damages to the vehicle if its been wrecked, damaged, flooded, fire, or even stolen. They are great reports to have on a vehicle and will give you some common knowledge of the vehicle's history. The biggest thing I like about Carfax is the buy back guarantee, you can learn more about it by visiting them online at www.Carfax.com. Great service and a good way to gain knowledge on your vehicle.

3. Warranty Information...I see and hear this all the time, please....A Warranty that is not in writing is worthless. Before you even sign a purchase agreement, have all warranty information in writing and on paper. Be sure that every inch of the contract is explained to you, if you don't understand the warranty. Most preowned vehicles you buy today are eligible for some kind of warranty service, ask the dealership before you buy the vehicle if it has warranty. Some dealerships even offer extended service contracts, ask the dealership for information on these.
